When you feel overheated, cool your forearms, neck, or feet first. It can give quick relief without jumping straight into a cold shower or cooling the whole room.

Damp towels can help on hot days, but only with airflow and humidity control. If the room feels humid, ventilate briefly even during the day.

A parked car can turn dangerously hot fast. Take pressure containers, batteries, glass, medicine, food, people, and pets with you.
