Want to show a presentation, photos, or a video on a bigger screen without hunting for an HDMI cable? AirPlay lets your Mac send the screen directly to Apple TV or an AirPlay-compatible TV.

- Make sure your Mac and Apple TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- On your Mac, click Control Center in the menu bar, then choose Screen Mirroring.
- Select your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV from the list.
- If a code appears on the TV, enter it on your Mac.
- Your screen is now mirrored. In Display Settings, you can switch between mirroring and using the TV as a separate display.
